- Sitting on Runway in Detroit waiting for a contract de-icer to de-ice our plane while snow is pouring down around us. Maybe a foot on the runway?
- Sitting on the runway while the plane starter that didn't work is replaced.
- Worrying about missing our 45 minute connection after sitting on the grown for 65 minutes.
But, we finally made it. Got into Tokyo an hour late, and our plane to China should have taken off right about the time we landed, but they waited for us knowing we were coming in late. Luckuly our luggage made it and our ride was still there waiting for us at midnight.
We sort of talked the group into staying at the Victory Hotel instead of the White Swan, and we are so happy with our room. Very big, very clean, and very professional staff. Here is a slideshow of our room (Click on the slideshow to start it playing):
